“Where does the name ‘Trimen Solutions’ come from?”

When I decided to create a business around helping people find meaningful jobs while providing solutions to companies struggling to fill their capacity needs, I wanted to name the business something meaningful.

I intended this organization to be more than just a service provider, I was dedicated to providing living wage jobs to anybody willing to put the work in, and to help them in more ways than just providing a paycheck.

As a community-centric, Christian organization, the theme of the Three Wise Men had always held special meaning for me, particularly given my upbringing.  Three men, in particular, shouldered the responsibility to ensure that I had the right environment to thrive in as I grew and I felt they provided the perfect avatar for this business.

Our Logo, created by my amazing sister, is a representation of these three wise men, as well as three very special men in our lives.

My great-grandfather passed before I was really old enough to know him well, but he may well have saved my life as a toddler, when I was playing in a parked car and knocked it out of gear.  Bob told me to ‘hang on’ and shut the door to ensure I didn’t fall out as he secured the moving vehicle. For that reason I always had a sense of safety around him.

I feel that I derived my daredevil spirit from Bob G. Perry, and that despite having moved to his Heavenly home he has always had my back, watching over me.

Bob’s protection over others was apparent at the time of his passing, when it was discovered he had secured plenty of insurance to take care of family members after he was gone from this Earthly realm.

His foresight and care allowed me to attend college without accumulating significant debt by paying for my Freshman year and helping me see that I could stand among my peers and succeed.  I’ll forever be grateful to him for the protection he provided me and the inspiration I had to take big chances.

My grandfather inspired a love of nature in me by taking me fishing and helped forge my tomboyish spirit.

He was also instrumental in forming the cornerstone of what Trimen is all about, character.

Johnny taught me to ‘do what you say you’re going to do, and say what you mean’.

It is in Johnny’s spirit that we say “Character is First” at Trimen Solutions.

My father, Frank, was my protector and taught me to stand up for myself.  As a child, I was always far smaller than everybody else my age and was bullied by neighborhood kids who would take my toys or my bike on occasion. I would come home upset, and he would have me go lay down while he sorted it out.  I never knew if he was getting my things back or buying new ones, but he was handling it for me.

One day, my dad told me that I’d have to stand up for myself if I wanted to make an impact in the world.

At that point, I decided I would no longer accept bullying, and instead became a protector like my father.

Frank taught me about the typical “man’s world” and how to be bold and independent to make my way and stand out on my own. 

These three amazing people inspired the name of this organization. But they are just three among hundreds of incredible family members, neighborhood leaders, friends, and business partners who have helped shape Trimen Solutions into a Character-Driven organization that places integrity, empathy, and honesty above all else.
